A road on the northern fringe of Locks Heath that connects the village to Swanwick and the railway station. Swanwick Lane carries traffic between the two communities and provides access to the station for Locks Heath commuters. The road has a more rural character in its northern sections, with hedgerows and fields before reaching the built-up area of Swanwick. Some Locks Heath residents use Swanwick Lane as their preferred route to the M27 via Swanwick, avoiding the Segensworth congestion. The Bold Forester pub is located on the Botley Road nearby.
