The main access road to Locks Heath Shopping Village, connecting the Locks Road and Warsash Road area to the Sainsbury's supermarket and surrounding retail units. Centre Way carries the heaviest commercial traffic in the village and is busiest on Saturday mornings and weekday evenings. The road was purpose-built as part of the shopping village development and is entirely suburban commercial in character. Free parking at the shopping village is accessed from Centre Way, making it the road that most Locks Heath residents use at least weekly. Traffic can back up at the junctions during peak shopping periods.
