A residential lane in the Park Gate area, on the eastern edge of the wider Locks Heath community. Cornaway Lane has a mix of housing types and periods, and its position between the residential estates and the A27 commercial corridor gives it a transitional character. The lane connects to the streets serving Brookfield Community School and provides pedestrian routes between the school and the residential areas to the west. Some older properties along the lane predate the main development and add character to the streetscape.
