Street guide, Locks Heath

A residential road in the southern part of Locks Heath, connecting the village to the Coldeast area and providing access to the streets around the former Coldeast Hospital site. Abshot Road carries traffic between the main village and the surrounding areas, and its route passes through some of the quieter residential streets. The road name refers to the Abshot area, which lies between Locks Heath and the coast. Some of the properties along Abshot Road predate the main development period, adding variety to the predominantly 1970s streetscape.
