Peter's Road
Established residential neighbourhood with a small local shopping parade
The eastern neighbourhood of Locks Heath, centred on the small shopping parade along Peter's Road. This area has a more established, quieter character than the shopping village core, with a mix of 1960s and 1970s housing, a convenience store, a fish and chip shop and other small businesses that serve the immediate neighbourhood. The streets around Peter's Road, including Heather Road and Raley Road, are predominantly family homes with modest gardens and on-street parking. The area is well connected by footpaths to the rest of the village and has a strong sense of neighbourhood identity among longer-standing residents who remember the area before the wider development reached its current extent.
